Checkmate Security Officers are chosen for their experience and dedication. The written and spoken English word is a requirement of all candidates.

At Checkmate we take the training of our guards very seriously. All officers must successfully complete a series of training ranging from customer service to report writing and the handling of security systems.

Because our security officers are your first line of defense against problems, we keep periodically self defense courses. Besides this self defense course, given by world renowned Karate Champion Mr. Marco London, all our security personnel are outfitted with communications radio (using state of the art Trunking system), a baton, tear gas, handcuffs and other standard guard equipment.

In addition to the above mentioned self-defense training programs, we also recognize the need for constant and never ending commitment to outstanding customer service.

That is why we have an exclusive contract with Mr. Mohabir Lall, marketing consultant and facilitator, who provides public relations and customer services courses on a regular basis for our security personnel.

Checkmate Security officers are carefully selected, screened, with no criminal record, and trained in various areas of Crime Prevention and Customer Service. They are highly motivated and well uniformed ready to perform mandated task.
